Exports of Turkish cement to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan increased, Trend reports on Nov. 21 referring to Turkish Trade Ministry.
From January through October 2019, cement exports from Turkey to Kazakhstan increased by 11.1 percent compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $4.6 million.
In October 2019, cement exports from Turkey to Kazakhstan increased by 49.9 percent compared to the same month of 2018, amounting to $720,000.
“From January through October 2019, cement exports from Turkey to Uzbekistan increased by 158 percent compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $12 million,” the ministry said.
In October 2019, cement exports from Turkey to Uzbekistan increased by 297 percent compared to the same month of 2018, amounting to $1.3 million.
Turkey's export grew by 1.6 percent and reached $137 billion from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, the country's export decreased by 0.3 percent and reached $15.2 billion in October 2019 compared to October 2018.
