From January through October 2019, the most ships were received at Turkey’s Kocaeli port, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
During the reporting period, the port received 7,204 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to 118.3 million tons.

From January through October 2019, Turkish ports received 46,607 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to 660.7 million tons.
In the reporting period, 17,853 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 28,754 vessels flying the flags of other countries arrived at Turkish ports.
From January through October 2019, the gross tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports flying the Turkish flag amounted to 99.1 million tons, and vessels flying the flags of other countries – 561.5 million tons.
