Some 821 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey from January through October 2019 which is by 26 companies less than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports on Nov. 25 referring to the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.
The total capital of Iranian companies registered in Turkey from January through October 2019 amounted to 115.9 million Turkish liras ($20.2 million), while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 126.2 million Turkish liras ($21.9 million).
From January through October 2019, the biggest number of Iranian companies was registered in Istanbul (977 companies).
“During the reporting period, 21 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Ankara and 63 companies with Iranian capital in Antalya province from January through October 2019,” the Union said. “The total capital of Iranian companies registered in Antalya from January through October 2019, amounted to 10.6 million liras ($1.8 million).”
Five mining, 80 industrial companies, 31 construction companies, 365 wholesale and retail companies, 17 transport companies, 83 tourism companies, four financial and insurance companies and 44 real estate companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey from January through October 2019.
The remaining 192 companies registered with Iranian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 365 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 57.8 million liras ($10.1 million).
