From January through November 2019, the volume of Turkey's exports from Istanbul and Ankara to Georgia amounted to $742 million, Trend reports citing Turkey's Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, during the reported period, exports from Istanbul to Georgia increased by 16.9 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to $645.9 million.
In the first 11 months of 2019, exports from Ankara to Georgia increased by 12.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2018, and amounted to $96 million.
In November 2019, exports from these cities to Georgia amounted to $86 million, the ministry said.
The exports from Istanbul to Georgia increased by 25.4 percent, compared to November 2018, and exceeded $75.5 million.
Meanwhile, the exports from Ankara to Georgia increased by 18.5 percent, compared to October 2018, and amounted to over $10.4 million.
From January through November 2019, Turkey’s exports grew by 1.3 percent, compared to the same period of 2018, amounting to $151.8 billion.
In November 2019, Turkey’s exports dropped by 0.33 percent, compared to October 2018, amounting to $15.2 billion.
