Volumes of methanol transshipped via Turkish ports disclosed

A total of 47,752 liters of methanol were transported via Turkish ports in January 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
In the same month, volumes of methanol transshipped by the vessels flying the Turkish flag amounted to 3.8 million liters.
“Over the reporting period, 43, 953 liters of methanol have been transshipped through ports of Turkey by vessels flying flags of other countries,” the ministry said.
The ministry also noted that no vessel had transported methanol via Turkish ports in transit during the reported period.
The volume of cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.
Through the same period cargo transshipment by vessels flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried over 30.5 tons of cargo.
In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through Turkish ports.
