Volume of cargo transshipped via Turkish ports by Bulgarian vessels in January revealed

Cargo transshipment from Bulgaria through ports of Turkey amounted to 365,576 tons in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Bulgaria via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 140,674 tons, while the ships flying flags of other countries carried 224,902 tons of cargo.

No vessel from Bulgaria flying the Bulgarian flag transshipped cargo via Turkish ports during the reported period.

Over the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from Bulgaria via Turkey's ports amounted to 88,826 tons.

The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.

Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.

In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through Turkish ports.
