Turkmenistan increases chemical imports from Turkey

Turkmenistan increased chemical imports from Turkey in January 2020, Trend reported referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade on February 27.
Over the reporting period, Turkmenistan has imported chemicals in the amount exceeding $7.8 million from Turkey, an increase of some 20.1 percent compared to January 2019, the ministry stated.
In January 2020, chemical exports from Turkey to the world market made up $1.7 billion, increase of 10.6 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
During the reported period chemical exports accounted for 11.5 percent of Turkey's total exports in the same month.
