The trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan increased by $7.4 million in February 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, and made up $74.9 million, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Trade Ministry on Apr. 7.
“In February 2020, exports of Turkey to Turkmenistan made up $52.9 million while imports from Turkmenistan - $21.9 million,” the ministry said.
According to the ministry, from January through February 2020, trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan increased by $24.4 million compared to the same period of last year, amounting to $146.6 million.
“From January through February 2020, exports of Turkey to Turkmenistan made up $98.8 million while imports from Turkmenistan - $47.8 million,” the ministry noted.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in February 2020 exceeded $32.2 billion.
In February 2020, export from Turkey increased by 2.3 percent compared to February 2019, exceeding $14.6 billion.
Turkey's import increased by 9.8 percent in February 2020 compared to the same month of 2019 and exceeded $17.6 billion.
