As many as 8,037 trucks transported cargo from France to Turkey in the first 4 months of 2020, which is 19 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 20 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"France accounted for 6.42 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation to Turkey for the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in April 2020, 1,152 Turkish trucks transported cargo from France to Turkey, which is 56 percent less than in April 2019.
From January through April of this year, 125,108 trucks from different countries transported cargo to Turkey, which is 7 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
"In April 2020, 20,616 trucks from different countries transported cargo to Turkey, which is 42 percent less compared to the same month of 2019," added the association.
