Turkish cargo deliveries to France suffer drop compared to 2019

As many as 27,412 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to France in the first 4 months of 2020, which is 26 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 21 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"France accounted for 2.11 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks over the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in April 2020, 1,041 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to France, which is 58 percent less than in April 2019.
In total, 369,978 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
