Export of wood and furniture from Turkey to France from January through April 2020 decreased by 1.79 percent compared to the same period of 2019, making up $33.4 million, Turkey's Trade Ministry told Trend.
In April 2020, export of wood and furniture from Turkey to France dropped by 34.47 percent compared to the same month of 2019, amounting to $5.7 million.
Export of wood and furniture from Turkey to world markets dropped by 5 percent from January 2020 through April 2020 and amounted to $1.6 billion. Over the reporting period, Turkey’s wood and furniture export amounted to 3.2 percent of the country’s total export.
In April 2020, Turkey’s export of wood and furniture to the world markets decreased by almost 28.6 percent compared to the same month of 2019, making up $340.4 million. Meanwhile, Turkey’s wood and furniture export amounted to 3.8 percent of the country's total export.
From April 2019 through April 2020, Turkey exported furniture and wood worth over $5.4 billion.
