Volume of cargo transported from Belgium through Turkish ports revealed

Some 8.3 million tons of cargo were transported from Belgium through the Turkish ports from January through September 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Nov. 12.

Some 75,030 tons of cargo were transported from Belgium by vessels under the Turkish flag while 8.2 million tons by vessels under the flags of other countries.

According to the ministry, during the reporting period, vessels under the flag of Belgium transported 2,929 tons of cargo.

During the reporting period, 345,533 tons of cargo were transited from Belgium through the Turkish ports.

Some 270.6 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in the reporting period.

Some 21.7 million tons of cargo were transported by vessels under the Turkish flag from January through September 2020.

From January through September 2020, over 10 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports by vessels under the flags of their countries while and 238.8 million tons were transported under the flags of other countries.

During the reporting period, 54.5 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports.

Some 31.2 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in September 2020.

Some 2.7 million tons of cargo were transported by vessels under the Turkish flag in September 2020.

Over 1 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports by vessels flying the flags of their countries while 27.4 million tons were transported by vessels under the flags of other countries.

According to the ministry, 6.2 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in September 2020.
