Car exports from Turkey to France decreased by 21.37 percent from January through October 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $2.26 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the trade ministry, in October 2020, Turkey’s car exports to France rose by 18.68 percent compared to October 2019 and amounted to $341.8 million.
As reported, Turkey’s exports of cars to global markets over the past 10 months of 2020 decreased by 20.9 percent over the year, amounting to $20.05 billion.
At the same time, Turkish car exports accounted for 14.8 percent of the country's total exports.
In October 2020, Turkey exported $2.91 billion worth of cars to world markets, which is 3.7 percent more compared to the same month of 2019.
Turkey’s car exports in October 2020 made up 16.8 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from October 2019 through October 2020), Turkey exported vehicles worth $25.2 billion abroad.
