Turkey's 2020 trade turnover with Kazakhstan disclosed

The trade turnover between Turkey and Kazakhstan decreased by $148.6 million during 2020, compared to 2019, amounting to $2.03 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.

From January through December 2020, Turkey's exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $881 million, and imports from Kazakhstan - $1.15 billion, the ministry said.

At the same time, in December 2020, the trade turnover between the two countries surged by $74.8 million compared to the same month of last year, reaching $208.7 million.

In December 2020, Turkey's exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $83.5 million, and imports from Kazakhstan - $125.2 million, the ministry said.

By 2020, Turkey's trade turnover amounted to $388.8 billion. Turkey's exports decreased by 6.3 percent compared to 2019, amounting to $169.4 billion.

At the same time, Turkey's imports increased by 4.3 percent over the year, exceeding $219.3 billion.

Turkey's foreign trade turnover in December 2020 amounted to $40.2 billion.

In December 2020, Turkey's exports increased by 16 percent compared to December 2019, surpassing $17.8 billion. In this month, Turkey's imports increased by 11.6 percent year on year and totaled over $22.3 billion.

Turkey's foreign trade turnover in 2019 amounted to $374.2 billion.
