Turkey’s cement exports to the US increased by 27.7 percent from January through March 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $130.3 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In March, cement exports from Turkey to the US rose by 33.14 percent compared to March 2020, amounting to $52.1 million.
In the first quarter of 2021, the value of cement exports from Turkey increased by 10.8 percent year on year, totaling over $1.01 billion.
In March 2021, Turkey exported cement worth over $403.1 million to international markets, which is 57.7 percent more compared to March 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from March 2020 to March 2021), Turkey’s exports of cement amounted to over $3.85 billion.
