The Turkish port of Istanbul received 84 ships from January through February 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
As reported, 39 ships out of those 84 were flying the Turkish flag.
According to the ministry, the ports of Turkey received 7,809 ships in the first 2 months of this year, including 2,333 ships flying the Turkish flag.
In the reporting period, 5,476 ships that Turkish ports received were flying the flags of other countries, the ministry said.
