The value of steel exports from Turkey to global markets increased by 36.3 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $5.46 billion, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
Reportedly, in April 2021, Turkey exported steel worth over $1.67 billion, thereby boosting the export volume by 84.2 percent on annual basis.
Over the past 12 months (from April 2020 through April 2021), Turkey’s exports of steel abroad amounted to over $14 billion.
