Turkey’s exports to Turkic countries from January through April 2021 grew by 45.6 percent compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $2.2 billion, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
According to the ministry, in April this year, Turkey exported its products worth over $665.6 million, which is 85.6 percent more than in the same month of last year.
In the first 4 months of 2021, Turkey's imports from Turkic-speaking countries in January-April rose by 59.9 percent on annual basis, amounting to over $1.4 billion.
In April, value of Turkey's imports from Turkic-speaking countries surged by 176 percent compared to the same period in 2020, making up over $389.9 million, added the ministry.
