Turkey's exports to the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) increased by 29.2 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, surpassing $18.1 billion, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
Reportedly, in April 2021, Turkey's exports to the OIC countries surged by 89 percent compared to April 2020, exceeding $5.04 billion.
According to the ministry, Turkey's imports from the OIC countries in the first 4 months of 2021 increased by 14.2 percent on annual basis, amounting to $9.63 billion.
"Turkey's imports from OIC countries in April 2021 soared by 70.2 percent compared to the same month of 2020, amounting to $2.44 billion," the ministry said.
