Turkey's foreign trade turnover in September 2021 amounted to $44.1 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
“In the same month, Turkey's exports increased by 30 percent compared to the same month of 2020 - up to $20.7 billion. Imports increased by 11.9 percent and amounted to $23.3 billion,” the ministry said.
“From January through September 2021, Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $354.2 billion. Turkey's exports increased by 35.9 percent - up to $160.9 billion. Meanwhile, Turkey's imports increased by 23.7 percent - up to $193.3 billion,” the ministry said.
“In 2020, Turkey's foreign trade turnover value was $388.8 billion. Turkey's exports decreased by 6.3 percent compared to 2019, settling at $169.4 billion. At the same time, Turkish imports grew by 4.3 percent compared to 2019, reaching $219.3 billion,” the ministry added.
