Turkey shares data on cargo transshipment from Tunisia in 10M2021

Turkish ports handled over 1.3 million tons of cargo from Tunisia in 10M2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

At the same time, ships under the Turkish flag delivered to ports 254,999 tons of cargo from Tunisia, while ships under the flags of other countries - over one million tons.

During this period, ships flying the Tunisian flag delivered 9,872 tons of cargo to Turkish ports.

The minister reported that Turkish ports handled 433,834 tons of transit cargo from Tunisia in 10M2021.

Over 318.9 million tons of goods were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021, 25.02 million tons of cargo were handled by ships flying the Turkish flag and more than 293.9 million tons - by ships flying the flags of other countries.

More than 63.8 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in the first ten months of this year.

Some 32.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in October 2021.

Around 2.4 million tons of cargo were transported to the domestic ports via ships flying the Turkish flag, while 30.04 million tons via ships flying the flags of other countries.

Meanwhile, over 6.7 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in October 2021.
