Turkey discloses volume of cargo from Singapore transported via its ports in 10M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 16

The Turkish ports handled over 2.8 million tons of cargo from Singapore in 10M2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

At the same time, ships flying under the Turkish flag delivered 50,000 tons of cargo from Singapore to the ports, while ships flying under the flags of other countries – 2.6 million tons.

During the reporting period, ships flying the flag of Singapore delivered 217,003 tons of cargo to the Turkish ports.

Some 704,857 tons of cargo from Singapore were transited through the Turkish ports in 10M2021.

Over 318.9 million tons of goods were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021, 25.02 million tons of cargo were handled by ships flying the Turkish flag and more than 293.9 million tons - by ships flying the flags of other countries.

More than 63.8 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in the first ten months of this year.

Some 32.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in October 2021.

Around 2.4 million tons of cargo were transported to the domestic ports via ships flying the Turkish flag, while 30.04 million tons via ships flying the flags of other countries.

Meanwhile, over 6.7 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in October 2021.
