Some 864 companies with Iranian capital passed registration in Turkey in 11M2021, which is 216,78 more than in the same period last year, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB) told Trend.
According to the information, the total capital of companies with Iranian capital registered in Turkey in 11M2021 amounted to 194.231 million Turkish lira ($2.2 billion), while in the same period in 2020 this figure amounted to 128.893 million Turkish lira ($1.5 billion).
During this period, most of the companies with Iranian capital were registered in Istanbul - 769. Their total capital amounted to 205.627 million Turkish lira ($2.3 billion).
Of the total number of registered companies, one company works in the mining sector, one - in agriculture, 62 - in the industrial sector, 28 - in construction, 335 - in wholesale and retail trade, 28 - in transport and logistics, 56 - in tourism, another 108 are engaged in the sale of real estate.
"The rest of the companies with Iranian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy," TOBB said.
The total capital of 335 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 80.911 million Turkish lira ($922 million).
