BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. The value of leather product exports by Türkiye abroad increased in June 2022, Turkish Trade Ministry said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
According to the ministry, this figure equaled $172 million, up by 12.6 percent on annual basis.
From January through June this year, Türkiye exported leather goods in the total amount of $979 million to international markets, which is 23.5 percent more than in the same period of last year, the ministry noted.
In the past 12 months (from June 2021 through June 2022), leather products worth $1.9 billion were exported by the country abroad, added the ministry.
