( Cihan ) - A total of 63 illegal immigrants have been captured on a vessel in western Turkish province of Izmir.
Izmir Coastal Security said in a statement on Monday that 63 immigrants who entered Turkey through illegal ways were captured on an old boat by off Izmir coast.
Illegal immigrants, four of them women and another was child, were of Palestinian origin and they are expected to be deported following the completion of their legal proceedings.
The statement also added that the number of illegal immigrants captured since the beginning of the year rose to 708.
