( Cihan ) - The police determined that the bomb suicide bomber used in Ankara Tuesday was an RDX type.
The first indications were that the type of the explosive was A-4, but the further investigation determined that the explosive was RDX, a type sometimes used even in nuclear heads.
The mechanism could not be determined as this specific type of explosive tends to radiate very high temperature. Nevertheless, the police are working on determining of the mechanism as well.
On Tuesday, May 22, a suicide bomber detonated the explosives on him in the downtown Ulus district, killing six people and wounding over 100 others.
