( Cihan ) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced new tactics regarding the presidential elections. Erdogan spoke for Turkish Aksam Daily and said that Justice and Development Party (AKP) would prepare a list of candidates and discuss it with the opposition prior to the presidential elections.

The decision of the Constitutional Court to approve referendum for presidential elections could only be implemented in October, said Erdogan and added that most likely the new parliament would elect the 11th president.

Erdogan said that compromise would be the basis of the process of the presidential elections. He also said that everyone was to obey the constitution and that AKP would work on a system in which minority would not have power over the majority in the parliament.
