These visits show that Erdogan's new policy would be with a stress on foreign affairs.
The visit to United Kingdom will give the opportunity to the premier to have his first face to face meeting with his British counterpart Gordon Brown.
Following the visit to Great Britain Erdogan is to visit France, the country that openly opposes Turkey 's membership to European Union, and have meeting with the French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
