BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Yaakov Blitshtein met on July 24, Trend reports.
According to the information, during the meeting, the sides discussed various aspects of bilateral and multilateral relations between the countries, including the current state and prospects of cooperation in the spheres of economy, security, high technologies, education, tourism, energy, transportation, etc., as well as the situation in Gaza.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period and the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Furthermore, it was noted that there is an additional opportunity for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel within the framework of Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The sides also exchanged views on other international and regional issues.
