TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 29. Uzbekistan and Türkiye have engaged in discussions regarding the future development of trade and economic relations, building on agreements reached during a high-level visit in June this year, Trend reports.
The talks took place between Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Nozimjon Kholmurodov, and Chairman of the Eco Eurasia Foundation, Hikmet Eren.
Eren praised the extensive reforms underway in Uzbekistan, noting that they are conducive to business development, according to the ministry. He also expressed readiness to actively support both existing agreements and new initiatives aimed at expanding cooperation.
Additionally, the parties outlined specific steps to enhance trade and investment collaboration.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to hold an Uzbek-Turkish business summit in Ankara in the first half of 2025.
