BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 29. Today, Kyrgyzstan is set to receive its second aircraft for Asman Airlines, the state airline, Trend reports via Manas International Airport.
The company will welcome the Dash 8-400, manufactured by De Havilland Aircraft of Canada. This twin-engine turboprop regional aircraft can carry up to 80 passengers and has a range of up to 2,000 kilometers.
Asman Airlines anticipates the arrival of a third aircraft in May and a fourth by the end of 2025.
Established as a subsidiary of Manas International Airport OJSC in June 2023, Asman Airlines received its first aircraft in early September 2024.
Furthermore, on September 24, the airline successfully conducted its inaugural technical flight on the Bishkek-Talas route.
