In line with its commitment to social responsibility and affordability, Nar successfully concluded an international environmental training program for journalists. Organized by the Azerbaijan Journalists' Network, the program culminated in the presentation of international eco-certificates to participants. This initiative enhanced media representatives' readiness for their active participation in the ongoing COP29 conference.
Following two days of online sessions, the training concluded with an in-person meeting featuring Tais Gadea Lara, a distinguished international expert on environmental issues and a regular contributor to COP conferences. During the session, Lara engaged with media professionals to exchange insights, share reflections on the COP29 conference hosted by Azerbaijan, and address their questions.
The three-day training equipped media representatives with in-depth knowledge on global warming, the design of climate change projects, and effective budget management. These skills have empowered journalists to engage more deeply with the topics discussed at COP29 and to deliver professional, impactful reporting on environmental issues.
Through this initiative, Nar reaffirms its dedication to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and underscores the media's critical role in fostering awareness and driving action on climate change.
