(Iran.ru) - Irans Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki here Thursday rejected the United States offer of conditional talks, dismissing it as illogical and nothing new.

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Wednesday said Washington is ready to enter the European-led negotiations if Tehran suspends uranium enrichment activities, reports Trend.

Mottaki talking to reporters after his meeting with the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu reiterated that Rice has not offered a new solution to the nuclear standoff.

He, however, added Iran is prepared to hold talks with the U.S. if Tehrans conditions are accepted.

Iran welcomes fair and unbiased talks, said the minister adding, We do not negotiate on our legal rights, but are ready to hold talks with all countries on common concerns under the conditions we have outlined.

We have fully cooperated within the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and there is no evidence that shows any diversion in our peaceful program.

Rices recent remarks aim to end the U.S. isolation, Mottaki noted.
