(Kazakhstan today) - The Iranian President's Special Envoy Abbas Eraqchi will represent Iran at the CICA summit in Almaty. He has stated this today, June 16, at a briefing, Kazakhstan Today correspondent reports.
"As you know the President and the Foreign Minister of Iran are currently in Shanghai and I have been entitled to participate in the CICA," - Iranian VFM has explained, reports Trend.
"We believe that this summit and the existence of this organisation are very important for peace and stability in Central Asia," - Mr. Eraqchi has stressed.
"The Central Asian region is very important for us. And we are sure that Kazakhstan is playing the main role here," - he has affirmed.
