(IRNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived here Tuesday to attend the UN Small Arms Review Conference.
Representatives of governments and international organizations have been gathering in the UN Headquarters in New York since Monday to review progress made by states in the past five years in the implementation of the Program of Action to `Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects'.
The conference will run until July 7, reports Trend.
The Iranian foreign minister is expected to deliver a speech at the conference today.
