A delegation headed by Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO Regional Director for Europe, which was accepted by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov, visited Ashgabat in July.
The parties discussed the priorities and perspectives of bilateral cooperation.
"The World Health Organization is thoroughly interested in building fruitful cooperation and is ready to offer Turkmenistan its rich experience in this important sphere," local media outlets quote Jakab.
