BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. The agreement on strategic cooperation between Green Car LLC and NIO automobile company was signed within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) on November 15 in Baku, Azerbaijan's pavilion located in the Blue Zone of COP29, Trend reports via COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

Meanwhile, it was noted that the signing ceremony was attended by the head of the delegation of the Republic of China on COP29 Deputy Minister of Ecology and Environment of China Zhao Yingmin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and CEO of COP29 Elnur Soltanov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan Umayra Taghiyeva, CEO of COP29 Operating Company Narmin Jarchalova, co-founder and president of NIO Company Qin Lihong and and CEO of Green Car LLC Rustam Ibrahimov.

According to the agreement, Green Car LLC will be the official distributor of NIO in Azerbaijan. Under the comprehensive management of NIO, Green Car LLC will start its activities with the sale of products and services and will implement the creation of local sales and service infrastructure of NIO, including battery charging and replacement stations, as well as NIO service centers and centers, and invest in these processes.
