BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Trend reports.
The guest was met at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Milli Majlis deputy Aydin Mirzazade and other officials.
Within the framework of COP29, a Parliamentary meeting will be held in Baku on November 16-17, organized jointly by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis. Participation of 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations is expected, including about 330 participants, including 12 speakers and vice-speakers, as well as 167 members of parliament.
