Ulema cast their votes in the 10th Presidential Elections, IRNA reported.
While casting their votes, the Ulema called on the people to actively participate in the current presidential elections nationwide.
The Ulema, including Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi, Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaigani, Ayatollah Yousef Sanei and Ayatollah Hossein Nouri-Hamedani, cast their votes in the 10th Presidential Elections in the holy city of Qom.
Polling began nationwide at 08:00 hours local time (0330 GMT) Friday to elect the country's next president.
Four candidates, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi and Mohsen Rezaie, are competing against each other in the elections.
