The 40-day funeral ceremony after the Hossein Ali Montazeri's death will be held at his home on Friday, his official Web site reported.
The ceremony will last 3-5 hours.
The report also contains pressure was exerted in regards to the ceremony.
Montazeri, who was one of the most influential politicians under Ayatollah Khomeini, died aged 87 on Dec. 19.
Montazeri had serious disagreements with the country' current leadership and he was under house arrest from 1997 to 2002. The spiritual person, who supported the reformist camp, accused Iran's leadership of dictatorship. The Basij forces prevented the holding of rite in connection with his death at the Azam mosque in the Iranian town of Gum. The Basij forces also attacked on offices of Montazeri and Saneyi.
