The Islamic Republic of Iran aims to enhance relations with regional and Muslim countries as well as European Union (EU) members states during its new calendar year started on March 21, Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said, IRNA reported.
Asked what Iran's plans on foreign policies are, Salehi replied that the Foreign Ministry is to design a program on the basis of the current conditions in the Middle East region.
He further said this program will benefit both the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Ummah.
'Despite the existence of some challenges to this aim, the Iranian Foreign Ministry makes its all-out efforts to overcome these difficulties,' Salehi said.
