SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, October 8. The "Protocol of Intent to Create the Türktransplant System" has been signed in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city, Trend reports.

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Kubanychbek Omuraliev, emphasized the valuable cooperation in the healthcare sector among member states.

He noted that the joint efforts aim to deepen multilateral cooperation.

Omuraliev expressed confidence that this initiative would be successful and effective for the further development of the healthcare sector in OTS member countries.

He highlighted that the topics discussed and decisions made would provide a significant impetus for the organization's future work in this new aspect.

"As an important achievement in our healthcare cooperation, we welcome the decision of the health ministers to sign the 'Protocol of Intent to Establish the Türktransplant System’ and to approve the 'Action Plan of the OTS Working Group on Healthcare Cooperation for 2025'," he added.

To note, the fourth meeting of the health ministers from member states and observer nations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), co-organized by the OTS and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health, has been held in Shusha.

The event draws a creme of a crowd, featuring the OTS Secretary General, health ministers from both member and observer nations, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, along with a host of invited scholars from around the globe.
