BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. Azerbaijan and ADB have discussed opportunities for climate change financing, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the discussions were held within the framework of a meeting between Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli and Deputy Director of Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank Xiaohong Yang.
At the meeting, it was noted that cooperation with the Bank is developing, and ADB's participation in various infrastructure projects related to public-private partnership, environmental protection, digital development, energy, and increasing transit-logistic potential of the country was highly appreciated.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of the partnership and discussed issues of mutual interest.
Furthermore, special attention was paid to opportunities for climate change financing, as well as cooperation within the framework of the COP29 conference.
