MOSCOW, Russia, October 7. Azerbaijan's policy is aimed at achieving justice in relations with all countries, the famous Russian political analyst, TV presenter and public figure Maxim Shevchenko told Trend.
"I constantly monitor the political life of Azerbaijan and the post-Soviet countries. Azerbaijan is establishing its own independent line of relations with each state that has proven its subjectivity in the post-Soviet region. There are no common principles or rules.
However, overall, we see that Azerbaijan's policy is aimed at achieving justice and diverse interaction with everyone—whether with Central Asian states, Russia, neighbors in the South Caucasus, and others," he said.
Shevchenko noted that Russian-Azerbaijani relations are based on a very constructive and substantive dialogue between the presidents of the two countries.
"This shapes the dynamics for the unique Russian-Azerbaijani relations. I also see a continuous and very serious dialogue initiated by the President of Azerbaijan in relations with Central Asian states.
I visited Shusha in the summer and saw a school built with the assistance of Uzbekistan. I believe this represents a significant human element of such partnership and solidarity," he added.
