BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. Trend News Agency has been recognized as the top media outlet for its quality and volume of coverage of the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, held in Baku.
According to research by the independent platform Medialogia, Trend’s news reports, articles, and exclusive interviews in Russian achieved the highest citation rate in the media.
Medialogia’s data shows that Trend ranked first in both the number of publications and their citations among outlets covering COP29 in Russian. Trend’s citation index reached 13,098, followed by the news portal Day.Az with 10,775 points. News.ru, TASS, and RIA Novosti outlets came next, with scores of 6,744, 6,191, and 3,667, respectively.
A similar trend is observed with publications in English. Trend
holds one of the highest citation indices for news related to COP29
in Baku.
