BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. Preliminary figures indicate that the nominal income of Azerbaijan's population increased by 15 percent or 703.3 million manat ($413.7 million) in January 2023 compared to 2022, reaching 5.3 billion manat ($3.1 billion), Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the mentioned period, income per capita increased by 14.3 percent, or 66.5 manat ($39.1) in Azerbaijan.
The indicator of income growth of the population following all compulsory and voluntary payments totaled 15.2 percent or 627.6 million manat ($369.1 million) compared to 2022. Meanwhile, per capita income increased by 14.5 percent or 59.4 manat ($34.9).

The nominal incomes of the Azerbaijani population in 2022 increased by 20.5 percent, or 11.7 billion manat ($6.8 billion) compared to 2021, and reached 68.9 billion manat ($40.5 billion). During this period, income per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent, or 1,134 manat ($667).
