BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. Azerbaijan Railways OJSC (ADY) is working on finalizing its business plan under corporate development strategy, Acting Head of the Research and Development Center under ADY Orkhan Ahmadzade told reporters on the sidelines of an information event themed "Innovations in Railroad Technology in Azerbaijan: Partnerships and Opportunities for German Companies" in Baku today, Trend reports.
According to him, 36 initiatives are being prepared as part of the corporate strategy.
"Based on these initiatives, work is underway on the business plan for 2025-2027, and we hope that the plan will be approved by the end of this year. This outlines our short-term, medium-term, and long-term vision for the future.
It details the changes and innovations that will occur across various areas towards achieving our goals, including shifts in operations and improvements in infrastructure, line maintenance, and the use of alternative energy sources," the official added.
To note, the event is organized as a part of a business trip to Azerbaijan for a delegation of German entrepreneurs by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) on October 21-25, 2024.
