BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. The member of the Ontario Liberal Party, Canadian politician Andrea Hazell, elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the by-election from the Scarborough-Guildwood district of Toronto, has become a guest of “Azerbaijan House” in Canada, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
Andrea Hazell, who shared her success story with the youth and newly arrived community members in Canada, expressed satisfaction with the visit. She noted that her success story will be a positive example for youth development.
In the course of the meeting, the head of “Azerbaijan House,” Lalin Hasanova informed the guest in detail about the directions of activity of the House and talked of projects related to propaganda of ancient history and the rich cultural heritage of our people. She added that a weekend school operates under the House of Azerbaijan.
The meeting also discussed cooperation with members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and the Canadian Parliament.
Expressing her gratitude for the invitation, Andrea Hazell highly appreciated the activity of Azerbaijan House and responded to the questions of the community members.
