BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The series of events will be dedicated to multiculturalism within COP29, Executive Director of Baku International Center for Multiculturalism Ravan Hasanov told local media, Trend reports.
He pointed out that multiculturalism stands out as one of the most significant aspects of state policy in Azerbaijan.
“A summit of world religious leaders will be organized by the Caucasus Muslims Department as an event from November 5 through 7. About 200 religious figures as well as scholars will take part in the event. Their visit to Karabakh is also planned. A separate panel session will be organized on November 13. It will be talked about the values of tolerance and multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, and books and films of the Multiculturalism Center will be presented at publishing exhibitions,” he said.
