BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The earnings and expenditures of municipal budgets in Azerbaijan will be recorded in an information system administered by the authority managing municipal activities, Trend reports.
The issue was addressed in a draft law proposing amendments to the law "On the Fundamentals of Financing Municipalities," which was discussed at a session of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.
As per the draft, the municipal budget expenditures will be run through this information system, with payments smoothed out by service providers.
